100 Day Challenge

We have a family pass to the American Fork Fitness Center.  When we are good and get to the Fitness Center it is really worth the cost.  But when we are bad and don't go it seems expensive.  I have really found a system that is working for me.  I have some movies on my Ipad, and I start one and I can just keep going on the ellipitical machine.  Right now I am watching the TV series "Pretty Little Liars".  I have season 1 downloaded and watch 1 episode every time I go.  It takes about 45 minutes to watch one show, so it works perfect.  I have found an ellipitical that has a cup holder on the side of the machine and the top has a ledge with some little knobs that keep the Ipad in place.  In no time at all, my 45 minute workout is over.

The Fitness Center is doing a little challenge thing right now.  It is called the 100 Day Challenge.  Every time I go to the Fitness Center, I get a stamp in a little book.  When I get 100 stamps I get some sort of prize.  If you know me I love to get free things.  So I have my little book and am getting my stamps every time I go.  I have been trying to go twice a day, so my book is filling up.  I am getting myself in shape and getting something for free.  (It is probably something silly like a water bottle)

For the good or bad of weighing my self everyday, I am going to do it.  I understand that my weight will do some ups and downs, but the goal is to continue in a downward trend.  So I will keep at it, even on days when I get on the scale and is show me up from the day before.


The other thiing that I need to work on, is the WEEKENDS.  I can't let that be a time to just eat whatever I want.  I am able to go to the gym on Saturday, and I need to get better at that, right now, Saturday can't be a day off.  So I will go to the gym on Saturday and eat good that day as well.  I  don't want to weigh myself every Monday and feel like what ever I did for the last week was a waste, because I weigh as much Monday as I did a week age.  So here's to a better weekend nest week!
