Greek Yogurt
Another day with the trainers, today I took a notebook and tried to write down what we did. I am hoping that I wrote good enough notes that I will be able to do some of the things on my own in a couple of weeks. We worked with free weights and some of the weight equipment.
Jessica and Eric told me about GREEK YOGURT. I looked for some at the store today, A serving has 22 grams of protein, that is a lot of protein. It is expensive yogurt, but sure tastes good. I have been making my own yogart parfaits with it. Cut up a banana, put in some frozen berries, the yogart and top it off with a little granola. I have a yummy breakfast that I can take to work and eat, all for about 300 calories.
Today I took my gym clothes with me and headed back to they gym at lunch time to do my 5K training. It was another run/walk day, today I ran for one lap and walked for 3 laps. That worked good for me.
Today I had to do the OFFICIAL weigh in for the Biggest Loser Program. They have this really cool scale at the Fitness Center. You stand on it with bare feet and it does some sore of body analysis, it tells you your weight, fat content, what you need to weigh to be in the proper fat content range, etc. So my official weigh in for the contest is 213.6. My body fat is 45.9%. It says I need to love 43.6 pounds of fat.
BRING IT ON! I am going to lose weight and get in better shape!
