My Weekends are Killing Me
Up TWO pounds from yesterday morning. I really have got to find a way to have a weekend and not gain back everything I lost over the week. It is discouraging, I feel like I am in a bit of a rut, I do really well during the week and lose a couple of pounds, then the weekend comes and I eat bad and gain back a couple of pounds, then I work hard during the week and lose a couple of pounds, the weekend arrives and a gain back what I worked all week to lose. THIS MUST STOP!
Our church doesn't start until 11:30, so I bundled up and started my pedometer app and went for a walk. I went from our house to the track at the High School and did 10 laps around the track and back home. The pedometer said I had walked 3.3 miles in 62 minutes. I was proud of myself, I have just walked a 5K. I know that I will be able to do it, even if I have to walk. But I will keep at the 5K training and increase the amount of jogging I do each week and hopefully I will do a lot of jogging when I really do the 5K at the end of March. It felt good to walk this morning and I am already looking forward to doing it again next weekend.
I WILL EAT BETTER NEXT WEEKEND!!!!!
